 In the coming weeks, the attention of the entire Muslim world will turn toward Mecca where the annual Hajj will be observed by millions of pilgrims ending with the celebration of Eid-ul-Adha.

There are millions of people faced with extreme poverty because of war, conflicts, disease and drought. For many families in countries like Palestine, Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Yemen, Ghana and Afghanistan meat is a luxury item out of their reach.
During this holiday season, one of the most important acts of worship is the Udhiyah/Qurbani of a sheep, goat or cow. Life always distributes fresh meat, never frozen or canned. The meat will help lift the spirits of those who receive it, by letting them know that someone far away cared enough to remember them on Eid.
